The camera does not allow deception. It does not act for the camera: the camera comes to take away the reality it is recording. The key is in the hospitality of simplicity. In front of a camera, the actor or actress does not offer a performance. You have to live an experience and let the camera steal it.

Knowing this, it is much easier to understand what is the essential difference between acting on a stage and acting for a camera.
It's actually a very simple idea.
In a Theater THE DISTANCE between the audience and your performance can vary between two meters and two floors of the room... and your obligation is to communicate everything that happens to the people located in the furthest areas of the silver Therefore you have to involve more voice, more movements, more expression... because the audience will not be able to appreciate subtleties. But when working in film or television, the audience is in the distance where the target is.
